As an example, load the Edit Runs dialog box with information as follows:

Table 2. Example Data
DOW RUN START END
Wednesday 17 500 1315
Monday 1 500 1330
Thursday 23 500 1330
Friday 1 500 1330
Tuesday 19 515 1330

Then, edit the run names, and the start and end times in the Edit Runs view, to produce the following results:

Table 3. Example Edits
DOW RUN START END
Wednesday 1 500 1330
Monday 1 500 1330
Thursday 1 500 1330
Friday 1 500 1330
Tuesday 1 500 1330
The times shown in the Start and End columns are provided by the runcut and are editable. The times shown in the Report, Pullout, Pullin, and Clear columns are calculated from the Start and End times based on values set in the following context properties:
Report (minutes)
Build Weeks subtracts this amount of time from the Pullout time and shows it in the Report time column.
Pullout (minutes)
Build Weeks subtracts this time from the Report time and shows it in the Start time column.
Clear (minutes)
Build Weeks adds this amount of time to the Pullin time and shows it in the Clear time column.
Pullin (minutes)
Build Weeks adds this amount of time to the Clear time and shows it in the End time column.

The PayTime column is calculated based on the Clear time minus the Report time.

It also subtracts any lunch break time using one of the following methods:
  • If a lunch break is shown in the Lunch Start and Lunch End columns, that defined break time is deducted.
  • If no lunch break is shown, an implicit lunch break time may be subtracted out based on two context properties:
    Lunch Threshold
If a value in the format nnHmm is saved here, Build Weeks will subtract the Lunch Time property from Pay Time for any run with no explicit break and whose Pay Time equals or exceeds this value.
    Lunch Time
Length in minutes of an implicit lunch break.
