Configuring Parameter Layout

Use the Parameter Layout step to arrange and customize the parameters shown in Report Designer options when running a report.

Before you begin

Report Designer must be open.

About this task

If needed, you can hide and unhide the Fields pane and Tab Order panes to better view other parts of the screen.

Procedure

  1. On the Reports list, double-click the report to edit, or create a new one first.
  2. Click the Parameters step tab:
    The Parameter Layout step appears.
  3. Choose the fields to include in the output based on the selected layout option.
    Drag the fields to add from the left pane to the right pane.
  4. To remove a field and/or its label, drag it from the right pane to the left pane.
  5. Click the Save button:
