Replacing Parameters

You can extract parameters from a Crystal Report to replace the current parameters.

About this task

Crystal Reports use the *.rpt file type.

Procedure

1. In the Select step, click the crystal report whose parameters should be changed.
2. In the Edit step, click the appropriate button on the screen toolbar:

   Option	Definition
   Preserve and Add	Keeps fields for parameters that have been removed from the query.
   Preserve and Edit	Does not keep fields for parameters that have been removed from the query.
   Clear Parameters	Extracts parameters directly from the query.
