Parameter Layouts

You can select a view on the Parameter Layout screen and design the parameter layout. These types of layouts also apply to setting the Filter fields and tables in some screens.

Button Name Description
Flow button Flow Lists each field with its field name.
  • To include fields, drag and drop them from the Fields pane into the right pane.
  • To reorder the fields, drag and drop them in the Tab Order pane.
  • To remove fields, drag and drop them from the right pane into the Fields pane.
  • To specify a border, click the Border button: Border button.
  • To select a background color, click the Table Background Color field.
Grid button Grid
Shows a grid to help align the fields, which can be placed anywhere in the grid.
  • To include fields, drag and drop them from the Fields pane into the right pane.
  • To remove fields, drag and drop them from the right pane into the Fields pane.

  • To enlarge the grid, increase the number of Rows and columns (Cols) and wait.

  • To specify a border, click the Border button: Border button.

  • To select a background color, click the Table Background Color field.
Canvas button Canvas Show a blank canvas, which allows the fields to be placed anywhere on the page.
  • To include fields, drag and drop them from the Fields pane into the right pane.

  • To reorder the fields, drag and drop them in the Tab Order pane.

  • To remove fields, drag and drop them from the right pane into the Fields pane.

  • To resize the canvas, click the small, black lines at the bottom-right corner of the canvas area.

  • To help visualize field alignment, from the Grid Size drop-down list, select the grid dot spacing size.

  • To specify a border, click the Border button: Border button.

  • To select a background color, click the Table Background Color field.
