Extracting Parameters

If you enter variable parameters with the SQL query, you can extract the parameters.

Open the Report Designer screen.

1. Click the report that you want to edit and click the Edit button:
2. Do one of the following steps:
   • In the Parameters pane of the Edit Parameters screen, select the parameter you want to extract, and click Extract.
   • Right-click in the Parameters pane, and from the shortcut menu, click Extract, and then choose one of the following options:
     • Preserve and Add
     • Preserve and Edit
     • Clear Parameters
