Runcutting is the process of developing or cutting runs from a group of vehicle blocks. Runs are composed of complete blocks or segments of blocks.
About Runcutting Approaches
BlockBuster provides two runcutting approaches: manual and automatic.
Automatic Runcutting
When you select Automatic runcutting, the scheduling algorithms in BlockBuster use the scheduling constraints you have defined in the parameters.
About Cutting from Scratch
The Cutting from Scratch option is used only in specific situations.

About Cutting from Scratch

The Cutting from Scratch option is used only in specific situations.

Choose Cutting from Scratch only in either of these situations:

The blocks have not been cut previously (All Uncut).
The service has changed to such an extent that there is very little similarity between the new schedule and the old schedule. For example, routes have been extensively redefined.
