Swapping Trips

Swapping trips allows you to make minor changes to blocks without having to open Trapeze FX.

If you have a large number of blocks, you may find it difficult to swap trips between two blocks if one of the blocks was not visible on the screen, that is, you need to scroll down to the bottom of the grid to locate it. Splitting the grid allows you to readily view the first block in the top grid and the second block on the bottom grid.
  1. Click Window > Split.
    Two intersecting lines appear on the grid. Click the splitter and move the lines to the point where you want to split the grid. Click again. The column headers shown in the top grid also appear on the second grid.
  2. On the top grid, scroll to the trips that you want, press CTRL and select the first set of trips.
  3. On the bottom grid, scroll to the trips that you want. press CTRL and select the second set of trips that you want to exchange with the first set.
  4. Right-click on either grid and from the shortcut menu, select Swap Trips.
    A message appears asking you to confirm the swap.
  5. Click Yes.
  6. Check the grids to make sure that the selected trips have been swapped.
