Runcutting is the process of developing or cutting runs from a group of vehicle blocks. Runs are composed of complete blocks or segments of blocks.
About Runcutting Approaches
BlockBuster provides two runcutting approaches: manual and automatic.
Automatic Runcutting
When you select Automatic runcutting, the scheduling algorithms in BlockBuster use the scheduling constraints you have defined in the parameters.
About Recutting Existing Runs
The Recut Existing Runs option causes BlockBuster to recut all items that have been previously cut.

The Recut Existing Runs option causes BlockBuster to recut all items that have been previously cut.

The option is selected by default and is generally the option most often used.

Use this option when performing incremental improvements to a runcut. The system does not cut pieces that are uncut (listed on the right side of the Runs screen).
