About Calculating Deadhead Times

The Calculate tab is used to determine deadhead times. It calculates deadhead time by distance, distance/speed, and plotted data.

The tab is also used when changes have been made to your geocoded data or to apply a new calculation.

The Calculate tab in the Deadheads Edit dialog box appears and works in the same way as the Calculate tab in the Node to Node Edit dialog box in Trip Building. After clicking Calculate, the route trace for the deadhead is drawn along the street network rather than from node to node.
