Posting Timekeeping

After timekeeping is calculated and all adjustments are made, posting timekeeping makes the data available to your payroll system.

  1. Open the Post Timekeeping screen.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To post timekeeping for a single day, specify a From Date and select One Day Only.
    • To post timekeeping for a date range, specify the range in the From Date and To Date fields and clear One Day Only.
  3. Select the Agencies to post.
    Divisions that belong to the selected agency are highlighted.
  4. Perform one of the following steps in the Division frame:
    To..Do this..
    Select all divisions Select a division checkbox. All divisions are selected.
    Select specific divisions Select the name of a division to include. Then select the check boxes for the divisions to include.
    The system saves your selection so when you select the same agency in subsequent sessions, the selected divisions are automatically shown.
  5. Select Post Timekeeping: Post Timekeeping
  6. If the OPS Validation Messages dialog appears, read the warning messages and do one of the following:
    • To post timekeeping for all the specified the divisions, select Retry All and then OK.
    • To cancel, close the dialog.
On the Timekeeping screen for the posted date, the posted attribute Posted appears in the attribute column for all posted data.
If there was an error, you can reverse the process by making the same selections and selecting Undo Post Timekeeping: Undo Post Timekeeping
