Editing Live Bookings

You can edit casual or live subscription bookings.

Before you begin

Trip Administration must be open.

About this task

Depending on your site, you might be required to unschedule a scheduled trip before editing it.

Procedure

  1. Search for the client and select the live booking.
  2. To unschedule a booking do one of the following:
    • Click Trip Admin > Unschedule.
    • Right-click the booking and click Unschedule.
  3. Click Trip Admin > Edit Booking:
    Pencil and three dots.
    If a dialog box indicates that the booking has already been arrived or performed, click Yes to continue editing the booking.
    The original booking appears in Trip Booking.
  4. Make the necessary changes to the booking.
  5. Click Save.
    A warning box appears to confirm your action.
  6. Do one of the following:

    Update the booking Click Yes.
    Save the changes you make as a new booking and preserve the old booking Click No.

    This option is typically used when, for example, a client is a no-show but wants to book the ride again for a different time. The original booking is kept as a no-show record.

    Cancel the save process Click Cancel.

    If the booking is scheduled and the Sync Neg/Sch Times with Req times property (found in Tools > System Properties, on the Profile tab, under PASS Scheduling) is set to Yes (no prompt) or Yes (prompt), a message appears prompting you to reschedule the booking.

  7. Click Close.
  8. In Trip Administration, click Display.
    The updated booking is shown.
