Enabling Capacity Swapping
Capacity Swapping allows the Schedule Server to improve the efficiency of a schedule by exchanging capacities between runs whenever it is optimal to do so.
Before you begin
About this task
The swapping algorithm takes into account the total number of vehicles operated by each provider and any vehicles in maintenance on the day of the schedule.
Procedure
- Search for the run to which to enable capacity swapping.
- Click the Detail tab.

Select the Elig. for Swapping check box.
Once a vehicle has been assigned to a run, its capacity becomes locked down and swapping is no longer permitted.
- Click the Save button:
