Creating Garages With No Fixed Addresses

Some providers only pay their drivers for the duration of a shift that begins at the first pick-up and ends at the last drop-off of the day.

Before you begin

Garages must be open.

About this task

This means that they do not pay for travel time (that is, pull-outs and pull-ins) outside of these run events.

When you schedule bookings to this run, note that the pull-out time is synchronized with the time of the first pick-up and the pull-out time is synchronized with the time of the last drop-off on the run.

Procedure

  1. Create a new garage with no address. For example, Virtual Garage.
  2. Click Task > Runs.
  3. Create a run and click Virtual Garage in the garage list to be the pull-in or pull-out garage for these runs.
