Creating Multi-Leg Itinerary Bookings
Multi-leg itinerary bookings include bookings where a client has three or more trips in a single day.
Before you begin
Procedure
-
Select a client for whom to book a trip and create the trip.
The first booking is the one that occurs at the earliest time.Bookings should be created in sequential order so that the Schedule Server can schedule the itinerary properly.
If, however, you create bookings out of sequence, you can resequence them at a later time.
-
To create the next booking, click the Continuation button:

The client name is populated in the Client field, the date is the same as the previous booking, and the destination address of the previous booking is populated in the Origin fields of the new booking. - In the Destination fields, type the drop-off address.
-
Do one of the following:
- Type the requested (Req) time (pick-up or drop-off) of the trip in the Origin or Destination tab.
- On the Supplementary Data tab, in the Min
Stay and/or Max Stay fields, type the minimum
and/or maximum duration of stay.
By default, the fields have values of 0.
When typing the minimum duration of stay, be sure that the time used exceeds the Min Duration of Stay property (in , on the Profile tab, under PASS Scheduling). The Min Duration of Stay property setting is applied if the minimum duration of stay in the actual booking is less than the global property setting.
- Define additional fields as needed and save the booking.
- Create any additional itinerary bookings.
- Optional: If trips were created out of sequence, click the Itinerary tab, highlight a booking, and use the up arrow to move it up the list or the down arrow to move it down the list.
Results
Itinerary bookings are highlighted in Trip Administration to help you quickly identify them. When you cancel or schedule one booking, the system alerts you about the other booking and also allows you to cancel or schedule it.
