About Geocoding Shelter Addresses
A shelter needs to be geocoded with an address.
Once a Shelter record has been created, it needs to be geocoded so that TRR can calculate
trip times and distances. You can search by shelter record or by address. When you click the
Find button, a list of results will appear that you can geocode.
There are two methods for geocoding: using a matching address or manually geocoding an address to a shelter. After the location’s address has been geocoded, it appears in the Address pane and the geocode appears on the map in the Address Details pane.
