Combine on Days

The Optimize On and Combine On Day Frames on the Auto tab automatically combine runs to form rosters based on options you have selected and the days you want to combine.

You can use the options in the two frames, for example, by combining weekday runs with runs on Saturday or with runs on Sunday.

Option	Description
Nearest On Time	Attempts to combine On days by matching sign-on time.
Nearest Off Time	Attempts to combine On days by matching sign-off time.
Nearest Work Time	Attempts to combine On days by matching total work time.
Average Platform	Shows the average platform of all rosters arrived at by adding all the platforms in the context and dividing the total number of platforms.
Pay Time (Improve)	Attempts to improve the runcut by improving the overall pay time. This is used only when running the Improve function.
Run Number	Used for runs that have exceptions. When selected, the system matches the alternate run type of the exception.
Group By/Line	Attempts to combine On days by matching only runs that operate on the same major line or on a defined group of lines. It is either a hard rule or a preference depending on what you set in your penalties.
Group By/Run Type	Attempts to combine On days by matching only runs of the same type. As with Line, it is either a hard rule or a preference depending om what you set in your penalties.
