About Medical and Drug Tests
Trapeze OPS lets you select random employees for drug and alcohol tests and then track employee drug and alcohol tests, dates, and results.
Drug and alcohol testing may be required after an accident or incident, or to meet Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements.
The FTA Random Drug and Alcohol Test Generator screen generates a list of
employees to be tested for drug and alcohol use based on a defined percentage of safety-sensitive
workforce employees. When generating an employee list, you can select the divisions of the
employees to include in testing and define whether to employees should be selected for drug
testing, alcohol testing, or both.
Note: The system doesn't consider when
employees were last tested for drug or alcohol use when generating random lists. It does,
however, show these dates in the results.
If an operator is pulled off a run to go for drug or alcohol testing, the absence must be manually recorded to make sure they're paid for their time.
