About Performance Value Balance Management
The Performance Value Balance Management screen lets you define initial performance point value balances based on employee performance types.
Initial performance point values can be defined once, or on a quarterly basis. Point values for employees are generated for each available performance type. After generating initial values, you can make adjustments for individual employees in the Employee Profile screen.
You can only generate performance values if the following properties and permissions allow it.

| If selected, the Performance Value Balance screen allows users to generate opening performance points values for employees per quarter. If cleared, performance value balances are generated for the From Date of the employee's first Status record. Selected by default. |
