About OPS-only Holidays

Holidays created in Trapeze OPS can only be used by OPS.

Holidays defined in OPS can be used in two circumstances:

You are running regular service for the day, but want to pay operators for a statutory holiday. A holiday bid is required.
You are conducting a vacation bid for the upcoming year, but not all future holidays have been defined in FX (sign-up periods haven't been created). OPS-only holidays can be created so vacation bidding can apply accurate accruals deductions. When FX eventually schedules the sign-up periods for the year, FX must define these holidays so the dates cease to be OPS-only and become shared holidays. The process to access shared holidays should then be followed.
Note: If you are replacing an OPS-created holiday with a holiday created in FX, perform the verification process you would follow when creating a shared holiday.
