About the Rota Manager Screen
The Rota Manager screen lets you activate and deactivate rotas and update work assignments.
When you roll out a rota, Trapeze OPS begins rolling out the work in the division in the first rota period that doesn't have an activated day. You can't roll out a rota for activated days.
During the roll-out process, work is validated against work assignment rules and employees are validated against qualification requirements. Any problems that occur are listed in the log pane at the bottom of the Rota Manager screen.
Deactivating a rota lets you to change or replace a rota. Rotas can only be rolled back to the last period that has no activated days
In rota lines, you can assign work, extraboard work, and days off for individual days or consecutive days. You can assign multiple work assignments for one day in a rota line if the assignments don't overlap or violate work assignment rules.
When you open a rota in the Rota Manager screen, the rota is locked to other system users. When a rota is locked, you can't edit or roll it out the rota until it's unlocked. However, you can copy the rota.
