Assigning or Changing Block IDs

You can assign or change Block IDs if you are not using customized Block IDs.

  1. On the Blocking tab, click the Edit button: Edit button.
    The Edit dialog box appears.
  2. On the Renumber tab, click Id.
  3. Do one of the following steps:
    • In the left frame of the Renumber tab, select the blocks you want to renumber.
    • To select all, click the row marker beside the BLK column header.
  4. In the Start field, type a number with which you want to begin your BlockID series.
  5. In the Increment field, type another number by which you want the number series to increase.
  6. Click Renumber.
    The numbers in the BlockId column follow the start number and increment you entered.
  7. Optional: To copy the numbers in the BLK column, click the >> (double greater than) button.
    The numbers in the BLK column are copied in the BlockId column.
  8. Optional: To use the generic Block ID which includes the Line and Block numbers, click Custom.
  9. Optional: To re-sort your blocks according to the From time of the blocks, select the Time Out Order check box.
    The blocks are re-sorted starting with the block with the earliest From time.
  10. Optional: To assign vehicle types to the blocks, click the Veh. Type field of the block you want.
    1. From the list, select the vehicle type you want to assign to the block.
    2. Repeat this procedure for each of the blocks to which you want to assign vehicle types.
  11. Click BLK column header.
    The numbers from the BlockId column on the Renumber tab appear or replace the numbers in the BlockId column in the Blocked trips grid.
  12. Click Close.
