About Roster Costing Rules
The costing features such as the costing constants and union contract used in Runcutting are similar to those in Rostering.
Roster Union Contract
The Union Contract dialog box is similar to the Runcutting Union Contract dialog box. The roster types are defined in the upper section and the contract rules for each roster type are set in the lower section.
Roster Types
Roster types define how valid rosters are costed and what costs are attributed to them. Each roster type has a name, roster type number, a set of contract rules, and a set of desired (best) rules. The most common roster types are regular and relief.

Adding a roster type is similar to adding a run type. Apply the same pointers described in Adding Run Types when numbering the roster type and to make sure the contract rules do not overlap.
