Setting the Context for the Vehicle Assignment Screen

Setting the screen Context (F3) shows and filters data related to your task.

The Vehicle Assignment screen only shows data for activated days.

In the Daily Blocks tab:

Choose a Date.
Select an Agency, Garage, and Layout.
If more than one Transportation Type is valid, select the one to show.
Select the Division(s).
To see only the parking grid, select Hide Vehicle / Block Assignment Grid.
To filter the data in the block grid by time, select one or both of the Time Filter fields and enter times.
To filter out canceled blocks, select Hide Canceled Blocks.
To filter out blocks that started the previous day, select Hide the previous day's block.
You can enable or disable auto-refresh of the block grid by selecting or clearing Enable Auto-Refresh.
The checkbox is disabled if the selected day isn't within one day of the current date. The refresh rate for the block grid is specified with the OPS > Yard Management > Vehicle Assignment > Assignment Grid > Refresh Rate (seconds) property.
To see only the block grid and details, select Hide Parking Grid.
To see tool tips when hovering over cells, select Enable Tool Tip and enter a time in seconds in the field.
You can enable or disable auto-refresh of the parking grid by selecting or clearing Enable Auto-Refresh.

In the Parking Grid tab:

Select Hide Vehicles Currently In-Service to hide vehicles that are currently on runs.
Select Hide Vehicles On Maintenance to hide vehicles out of service.
Select Hide Vehicles Icon to hide the display of vehicles icons.
Select Hide Vehicles Characteristics Icon to hide requirements and qualification information.
In the Type box, select the types of vehicles to see in the parking map.
Select OK.
