About the Vehicle Assignment Parking Grid Pane

Information about vehicles in the parking grid pane is available through symbols and tooltips.

The parking grid pane is the top pane of the Vehicle Assignment screen. Symbols may appear in a vehicle cell to identify specific information about the vehicle. Hovering over the cell can show a tooltip with information such as work assignments and maintenance activities.

Vehicle numbers appear in their parking grid cells. Symbols may appear beside the numbers.

Symbol	Label	Description
	Bus Type	Identifies vehicles in non-rail divisions. The color of the symbol specifies the bus type, as defined in OPS Bus Types ancillary data.
	Rail Type	Identifies vehicles in rail divisions.
	Orientation	Identifies the direction the vehicle is facing in the parking spot.
1234	Vehicle number	The color of the vehicle number indicates whether the vehicle is in service, will be in service, or is no longer in service. This feature is only available when viewing a parking grid for the current date. Colors are defined in OPS > Yard Management > Color-coding properties and listed in the Color Legend.
	Maintenance	Identifies vehicles on maintenance. The symbol appears in the color specified for the maintenance type in ancillary data.
	Tripper	Identifies vehicles that are only suitable for short trips.
	Characteristics	Identifies vehicles with special characteristics.
	Attribute	Identifies vehicles with associated Daily Vehicle Attributes.
