About Train Consists

View and specify which vehicles are parts of trains using the Train Consists tab on the Vehicle Assignment screen.

A consist is a sequence of rail vehicles forming a single unit. Consists are created during day activation. A consist is created for each block using the naming convention C-blockname. For example, if you have blocks named 001, 002, and 003 the consists are called C-001, C-002, C-003.

If your agency uses Yard Manager, vehicles are added to the consist based on the Yard Manager data. Otherwise, you can manually add vehicles in the Train Consists tab of the Vehicle Assignment screen.
