Searching for Bookings from Two Schedules

When times from two schedules overlap, you can search for trips that occur on either day.

Before you begin

Trip Administration must be open.

About this task

Note that searching Schedules only includes results for the selected schedule, not results for overlapping time periods in two schedules.

Procedure

  1. Turn on double-day logic:
    1. Open Trapeze6 Client Shell.
    2. On the Properties tab, click PASS > Trapeze4 > Double Day > Enable Double Day Logic.
    3. Select the checkbox.
    4. Click Save.
  2. Check the system property that determines the end time of day for live schedules:
    1. The end time of (the next) day defined for each day is set using the system property found in Tools > System Properties, on the System tab, under End time of day. Note that this is an existing property and changing the default setting will affect more than Trip Administration search results.
    2. Click Tools > System Properties.
    3. Click the System tab.
    4. Check the End time of day property.
      The time after 24:00 will overlap with the hours starting at 00:00 in the next day's schedule.
  3. Type a From Time and To Time.
    For example, a trip booked for 26:30 on June 13th and a trip booked for 2:00 on June 14th could both appear when searching for trips on June 14th between the hours of 00:00 and 11:30.
  4. Click Display.
