About Driver Blocks
Driver blocks are predominantly used in rail transit and are developed in the Blocking screen of Trapeze FX.
They are useful at rail transit sites where the operators drop back upon arrival at the end of the rail line. This allows the rail service to continue while the driver has a brief period of layover until the next arrival.
Driver blocks are set up first in Trapeze FX. The line groups in which you want to create driver blocks are defined in the Line Groups ancillary data.
Driver blocks use the same trips as well as the same components such as deadheads as the vehicle blocks. Their main differences are in how they are blocked and the fact that you cannot assign garages to driver blocks.
If you have the Driver blocks feature enabled in FX, the blocks that appear in BlockBuster Web for runcutting are driver blocks.
