OPS Statistics Details and Actions

Each tab on the OPS Statistics screen provides a different statistical view of operations data.

You can also perform a variety of actions on each tab.

Tab Content Actions
Personnel Employee availability and absence statistics. The Active Workforce section shows how many employees were available or had the day off each day. The Uncontrolled Absences and Controlled Absences section show how many employees were absent each day.

These statistics can reveal absence rate patterns. The rate should be consistent over time. Rows that don't contain data are automatically hidden.

To see employee or absence records associated with a statistic, right-click a number and select Detail.
Events Accident, incident, and customer feedback statistics.

The OPS > Employee Profile > Customer Feedback Exclusions property specifies whether all feedback or only specific feedback subtypes appear.

To see events records associated with a statistic, right-click a statistic and select Detail.
Extraboard Utilization Employees used on the extraboard and their utilization percentage.

Cells shaded gray indicate employee days off. Cells marked n/a aren't included in statistics.

To view work performed by an employee, right-click an employee cell and select Detail.
Volunteer Usage Employees who worked as volunteers by volunteer type and the amount of time they worked.

Cells with a zero (0) value indicate days employees were listed as volunteers but weren't assigned work as volunteers.

Cells marked n/a indicate days when employees didn't act as volunteers. Cells shaded gray indicate employee days off.

To view work performed by a volunteer, right-click an employee cell and select Detail.
Absence Quotas Number of absences taken and the quota available for the work week ordered by absence type. To view employees who were absent, right-click a cell in a Taken row and select Detail.
Daily Work A daily count (by work type) of the number of work pieces and the number of work pieces actually assigned.

The Show Work Details dialog shows the pieces of work and the Line Groups they're associated with.

To view work details, right-click a number and select Detail.
Hours Analysis Scheduled and actual hours for fixed route, special, and stand-by services. It also summarizes casual work and extra pay and shows the differences between scheduled and actual time

Fixed route work only shows Report, Start Travel, Start Wait, Platform, End Wait, End Travel, and Clear values so statistics can be shown for uncosted days.

To view work associated with a statistic, right-click a Scheduled, Actual, or Variance cell and select Detail.

In the Show Scheduled Details dialog, the data is sorted by Work Name, and then by Piece Number.

Canceled Service The number of trips and pieces of work with service cancellations by reason per day.

The OPS > Dispatch > Cancel Service > Enable property determines whether the Canceled Service tab appears.

To view trips that were canceled, right-click the number of cancellations in the Trips column on a specific day and selectDetail.
Pay Code Summary The number of hours paid in each pay code per day and the total number of hours in each pay code for the week. N/A
