Creating Vehicle Change Outs

Change out block vehicles as needed.

If the change occurs during the run, the block is split and the new vehicle is assigned to the second block in the sequence.
  1. Open the Vehicle Assignment screen and set the Context (F3).
  2. Select the block with the vehicle to change out.
  3. Select Vehicle Change Out: Vehicle Change Out
    The Change Out Time field is filled with one of the following values:
    • If the current time is the same as or earlier than the Block Actual From Time, the Change Out Time field uses the Block Actual From Time.
    • If the current time is between the Block Actual From Time and To Time, the Change Out Time field uses the current time.
    • If the current time is the same as or later than the Block Actual To Time, the Change Out Time field uses the Block Actual To Time.
  4. If needed, update the Change Out Time field.
  5. In the Replacement Vehicle Number field, select the number of the new vehicle.
  6. Select the Maintenance Type.
    This is the maintenance activity required for the vehicle being replaced.
  7. In Block Details, select the time range when the change out occurs.
  8. In Time Points, select the location where the change out occurs.
  9. Optional: Enter a Comment.
  10. Select OK.
