Logging Events

Log entries can be created for events that occur during the operational day.

  1. Open the Dispatch Log screen and set the Context (F3).
  2. Select Create Log Event: Create Log Event

In the Event section:
  1. The Log Time is set to the current time. Update this, if needed.
  2. Select the Division the event occurred in.
  3. Select the Event Type
In the Log Detail section:
  1. Select a Call Source.
    This is the method by which you were informed of the event. The OPS > Dispatch > Dispatch Log > Default Call Source property specifies the default source.
  2. Enter the start and end of the vehicles delay in Delay From Time and Delay To Time.
    The delay time is calculated from these entries and that value is entered in the Delay Time field.
  3. Enter the start and end of the line delay in the Line Delay From Time and Line Delay To Time.
    The Line Delay To Time can't be later than the Delay Time.
    The line delay time is calculated from these entries and that value is entered in the Line Delay Time field.
  4. In Missed Trip Count enter the number of trips the operator of the delayed vehicle missed.
  5. Select Next.
    The next screen varies depending on the Event Type selected. Follow the procedure for the screen to complete the log entry.
