Setting Up Alternate Roster Bids

Alternate roster bids can be created when one week within a sign-up period differs.

  1. Open the Bid Alternate Roster screen and set the Context (F3).
    Define the Agency, Bid Name and Alternate Roster to be used.
  2. Select Bid Alternate Roster > New.
    The Alternate Roster Bid Configuration - General page appears.
  3. Enter an Alternate Roster Bid Name.
  4. In Select Original Bid, select the bid with the week you are replacing.
  5. In Start of Week for Alternate Roster enter the first date of the alternate roster bid week.
  6. Enter a New Period Name for the week of the alternate roster bid.
  7. Select Next.
    The Alternate Roster Bid Configuration - Roster Scenario page appears.
  8. For each division, in the Roster Scenario list select the roster scenario with work for the alternate roster bid.
  9. Select Next.
    The Alternate Roster Bid Configuration - Extraboard Quota Scenario page appears.
  10. In Number Needed enter the number of required extraboard operators.
    The Alternate Roster Bid Configuration - Employee page appears.
  11. To reload employees in the bid, select Reload.
  12. Select Finish.
