Discontinuing a Subscription

Subscriptions can be discontinued if the client no longer needs to repeat a trip on a regular basis.

About this task

In the event that a client moves away, is deceased, or wants to stop the subscription service, you must deactivate the master record, delete the template records, and cancel all live schedules that have already been created for future days.

Procedure

  1. Open the Date Intervals dialog box:
    • In Trip Booking, click Calendar.
    • In Trip Administration, type the name of the client in the Client field, select the Sub check box, and click Display. With the subscription booking in the grid, click the Schedule grid cell, and click the drop-down arrow.
  2. For each active rule, specify the last date in the To Date field for which the subscription is to be activated.
  3. Click Save.
    The Date Intervals dialog box closes.
  4. In Trip Administration, display the template and live schedules for the client whose subscription is ending.
    1. Type the client name in the Client field.
    2. Select the Act check box.
    3. In the Sched Type list, click Live and Template schedule types.
    4. Click Display.
  5. Delete all template trips:
    1. Highlight all template trips by holding CTRL and clicking each template trip.
    2. Click the Delete button, or right-click and click Delete.
  6. Cancel any previously activated trips.
