Applying Shift Reliefs

Use the Shift Relief feature to adjust your run solutions.

  1. In the Cut Pieces grid, select the run for which you want to shift the relief point.
  2. Click Runcutting > Shift Reliefs.
    The data of the selected run appears in the left frames of the dialog box. A list of the relief nodes appear in the Reliefs frame.
  3. In the Reliefs frame, click the highlighted node and move it to the node to which you want to shift the relief. Move the node with your pointer or use the Up and Down arrow keys on your keyboard.
    As you move the node, the data on the times, pay, pay/plat of the runs, and values of the applicable contract rules change dynamically in the dialog box. Review each set of data until you find the most acceptable solution.
  4. Optional: After selecting a relief, select a run type for the changed run in the Test Type drop-down list.

    If any contract rule is broken, the affected rule appears in the Rule Broken field.

  5. To save your changes
    • Select the Auto Save check box to save your changes automatically.
    • To track your changes, click Save after you decide on the appropriate relief point.
  6. Click Close.
