Automatic Runcutting

Automatic Runcutting allows you to repeatedly process large volumes of scheduling data quickly and efficiently until you arrive at the best run solutions.

Some of the benefits that Automatic Runcutting provides are:

• Looks not only at your Contract Rules and Costing Constants but also what values are in the Best and Weights columns of the Union Contract dialog box.
• May achieve the fewest number of runs necessary to provide the desired level of service by equalizing platform time and pay hours for runs.
• Ensures that runs conform to your transit site policies and union agreements.
• Facilitates the calculation of accurate pay hours and provides a pay to platform ratio.
  Note: As a rule of thumb, the minimum and maximum values can be adjusted as you run cut. Be cautious though not to exceed your union agreements.
