Deactivating Policies
When a policy must be edited or is not being used, it can be deactivated.
Before you begin
Procedure

Select the policy card of the policy to be deactivated.
The policy information, policy infraction criteria, and policy stages and phases for the selected policy are visible.

Click Deactivate.

The policy is deactivated. - Optional:
Edit the following policy settings as needed:

End Date (End date can only be extended)

Name
-
Description
-
Infraction Criteria
-
Maximum investigation time period
-
Maximum time period to compose message
-
Printed Letter Templates
-
Grace Period for Violation Alert Stage
-
Grace Period Prior to Suspension for Appeal Stage

Cancellation Code for Suspension Levels
If policy settings other than these need to be edited, a new policy must be created. (Typically, this would be done by cloning the original policy.) -
