Hiding and Unhiding Policies

Policies can be hidden when they are not in use.

Before you begin

Open the Service Infractions module to the Policies tab.

Procedure

  1. To hide a policy, do the following:
    1. Select the policy card of the policy to be hidden.
    2. If the policy is currently active, click Deactivate:
      Open folder marked by a square stop button in a circle above the word Deactivate.
    3. Click Hide:
      Open folder marked by an eye with a slash through it above the word Hide.
  2. To unhide a policy, do the following:
    1. In Context Properties, confirm that the PassEligibility > CasesScreen > Show hidden policies property is selected.
      Context Properties are part of the system administrator tools typically found at localhost:5000. This URL may be different depending on your system setup.
    2. Restart the Service Shell.
    3. Log on to, or refresh, Service Infractions.

    4. Click the Policies tab.
    5. Select the policy card of the policy to be unhidden.
    6. Click Unhide:
      Open folder marked by an eye above the word Hide.
    7. Optional: To prevent users from seeing hidden policies, clear the Show hidden policies context property and restart the Service Shell.
