Commands for Policies

There are a number of actions available for policies on the command ribbon.

You can add policies, activate policies, deactivate policies, and clone policies from the Policy group on the Policies ribbon.
Table 1. Description of Commands Used for Policies
Command Group Description
Plus sign on a folder above the word Add. Policy Create a new policy.
Play button on a folder above the word Activate. Policy Signal the system to start enforcing the rules defined in the policy.
Note: Once activated, a policy must be deactivated before it can be edited, and some changes are no longer possible.
Stop button on a folder above the word Deactivate. Policy Signal the system to stop enforcing the rules defined in the policy.
Two pieces of paper with arrows pointing from one piece to the second piece above the word Clone. Policy Copy an existing policy.
Eye with a slash through it on a folder above the word Hide. Policy Prevents the policy from being shown in the policies list.
Eye on a folder above the word Unhide. Policy Allows a previously hidden policy to be shown in the policies list.

Policies can be unhidden immediately after they are hidden, or they can be unhidden if the PassEligibility > CasesScreen > Show hidden policies context property is selected.
