Workspace Content and Appearance Settings

Workspace content and appearance settings are saved in workspaces but can be altered as you work.

Fields/Grid Customizing the grid gives you the option of creating tailored sheets in the detail view of any screen that uses list and detail views.	The fields you have selected to show in each screen are saved.	The colors and grid lines you specify for each screen are saved.
System settings and screen specific properties	N/A	The system settings and screen specific properties you chose are preserved when you save a workspace. These settings control various aspects of how information is shown and specific functions performed.
Customized menus This refers to extensions you place and organize in the Task, Ancillary, Tools, or Reports menus in the Menu bar, as well as the Launchpad.	The organization and content of the menus are saved.	The appearance of the menus, such as the presence or absence of separators, is saved.
List view and Detail view	N/A	The views you have chosen for each screen are saved. For example, you might have enlarged the list view in a screen so that the detail view is not visible. Saving the screen to the workspace ensures that each time you open the workspace only the list view is visible in that screen. The detail view is still available. Resize the screen to redisplay the detail view.
Customized toolbars	Customized standard and screen toolbars are preserved when you save a workspace. (You cannot customize the Menu bar.) Any new toolbars and the buttons you put on them are also preserved when you save a workspace.	The size of the icons (large or small) is preserved when you save a workspace.
Sort order	N/A	The sort order changes the organization of the data within a grid. The order is saved when you save your workspace
Status bar	The presence or absence of the Status bar is preserved when you save your workspace.	N/A
Zoom level	N/A	The current zoom level of your screen is preserved when the workspace is saved. The zoom level affects how large the print is on your screen.
