Policy Infraction Criteria

Policy infraction criteria currently available in the Service Infractions module.

Table 1. Description of Available Policy Infraction Criteria
Infraction Criteria Description
Schedule Status Schedule statuses enabled in PASS.

Schedule status codes define the status of an event (for example, whether a trip is scheduled, canceled, or performed). Your system administrator may have defined things even further (for example, Cancel At Door and User Error Cancel). If your organization’s policy takes schedule status into account, select the schedule statuses that trips must have in order to incur an infraction. Otherwise, trips with any schedule status will be eligible for infractions.

If the policy is a point-based policy, assign a point value to each selected schedule status.

Service Types Service types defined in PASS ancillary data.

(Defined in PASS as Paraservice type). If you offer different services to different groups (for example, ADA services or Dial-a-Ride services), you can define which of these groups, or Service Types, can incur infractions under the policy.

The Service Infractions module looks at the trip booking record to determine if the client is eligible for an infraction based on service type.

Providers Providers who are providing service for the specified service types.

If the policy should be applied only when certain providers are used, select them here. Otherwise, trips for any provider will be eligible for infractions.

Providers are defined in PASS ancillary data.

Note that provider security is respected in Service Infractions at the policy level. This means that users working with the policy must be included in the security groups defined for all providers associated with the policy. If no providers are selected in infraction criteria, then this does not apply and all users can view all provider information.

To check or set the provider security group, in the Trapeze4 Workstation, under File > Ancillary Data > Para > Organizations > Providers, select the provider, click the Site tab, and view or update the Security Group Name field as needed.

Booking Purposes Booking purposes defined in PASS ancillary data.

A booking purpose, such as Education or Medical, can be defined in PASS when setting up a trip. If your policy applies infractions only to trips that have a specific booking type (for example, Medical), then you can select it from the list. Otherwise, trips with all booking types will be eligible to incur service infractions.

Behavior Type Behavior types are defined on the Policies tab and apply only to behavioral policy Types.

If the policy should be applied only when certain behavior types are recorded, select them here.

If the policy is a point-based policy, assign a point value to each selected behavior type.
