About Trip Building
Trip building refers to the process of building schedules that show the times that vehicles are expected to arrive or depart from identified locations along a route. It is performed after determining the routes, node and stop patterns.
Trips Tab
The Trips tab shows the trips of the line you selected in Set Mode. The trips are shown in grids with the patterns, node abbreviations, and vehicle types that are assigned to them.

Aside from allowing you to view and work with trips that belong to a single line, FX provides you the ability to view trips of lines that run along the same route at the same time as well as trips for a single block.

Aside from allowing you to view and work with trips that belong to a single line, FX provides you the ability to view trips of lines that run along the same route at the same time as well as trips for a single block.

This is regardless of how many lines the trips may be on. You can also choose to display different lines and directions in the upper and bottom grids of the Trips screen. Displaying trips on multiple lines further allows you to adjust schedules that connect through one or more points. The system can automatically merge common points to allow you to see the headways at these points.
