About Trip Building
Trip building refers to the process of building schedules that show the times that vehicles are expected to arrive or depart from identified locations along a route. It is performed after determining the routes, node and stop patterns.
Trips Tab
The Trips tab shows the trips of the line you selected in Set Mode. The trips are shown in grids with the patterns, node abbreviations, and vehicle types that are assigned to them.
Building Trips Without Patterns and Run Times
Trip building without patterns and run times is a more time-consuming approach because it means typing the field data on to the grid and manually determining the trip schedule.
Using the Build Tab
After you have created at least one trip without patterns or run times, continue to build trips through the Build tab.

After you have created at least one trip without patterns or run times, continue to build trips through the Build tab.

On the Trips tab, select the trip on which you want to base the next set of trips.
Click the Edit button:

The Edit dialog box appears.
Select the Build tab.
Depending on the trips you want to build, select the Build From Trip check box or click Last Trip.
If necessary, modify the data on the Build tab fields based on what you require.
Click Apply.
Click Close.
