Creating Vacation Relief Work

Assign vacation relief work employees in the Work Planner as needed.

The employee whose work will get relief must be assigned vacation absences for the weeks they are away.
Typically, vacation relief is created on a week-by-week basis. To allow non-weekly vacation relief, the OPS > WorkPlanner > Relief > Vacation Relief > Allow Non-Weekly Vacation Relief property must be selected.
  1. Open the Work Planner screen and set the Context (F3).
  2. In the employees view, select the entire week for the employee to be assigned vacation relief work.
  3. Right-click and select Create Vacation Relief.
    The Assign Vacation Relief dialog appears.
  4. Confirm that a vacation relief bid unit appears in the Bid Unit field.
  5. In the fast find field at the bottom of the dialog, find the operator whose work will get relief.
  6. Select OK.
  7. Review the work Description and select OK.
Work Planner is updated and the vacation relief work is assigned to the selected employee.
