Deleting Absences in Work Planner

Delete absences in Work Planner and see any conflicting work assignments, hold downs, and if the absence has been paid in advance.

  1. Open the Work Planner screen and set the Context (F3).
  2. In Employee View, Select one or more consecutive absence days.
  3. Right-click the selected absence and select Delete Absences.
    A confirmation message appears.
  4. Select OK.
  5. If pieces of work are affected by the absence, the Conflicting Work Assignments dialog lists the affected work. Select OK.
  6. If your agency enforces absence and hold-down relationships, and another employee is holding down the employee’s work on the absence days, the OPS Validation dialog shows the affected hold-downs. Select OK.
  7. If the deleted absence time has been paid in advance, a warning message appears. Select OK.
