Unassigning Client Cases

Client cases can only be unassigned by the user currently assigned to the case.

Before you begin

Open the Service Infractions module to the Cases tab.

About this task

Cases can only be unassigned if they are in the Investigation phase.

Procedure

  1. Select the case card of the case to be unassigned.
    Case information, which may include Client Information, Case History, and Infractions, for the selected case is visible.
  2. Click Unassign.
    Piece of paper with a question mark above the word Unassign.

Results

The current user is unassigned from the case, Not Assigned is visible on the case card, and the change is recorded in Case History.
