Process Overview

To complete the combine process, you must perform some steps in the Rostering screen and BlockBuster.

The process is described in general terms in the following steps (Unless otherwise indicated, the step is performed in FX.):
  1. Create an exception combination that contains exceptions for each day of the week.
  2. Create a service group combination that contains a service group for each day of the week.
  3. Associate the day exception combination with the appropriate day service group.
  4. In BlockBuster, create an active scenario for each day of the week.
  5. In BlockBuster, generate exception runs for each day of the week.
  6. Load the runs from BlockBuster in the Rostering screen.
  7. Define the Combine rules to be applied.
  8. Combine the days of the week.
  9. Apply Combine Runs.
  10. Save the roster.
  11. In BlockBuster, save and select the scenario that was modified as active.
  12. Reload the roster in FX.
  13. Perform other rostering functions as required.
