Creating Absence Quotas
Creating absence quotas define how many employees can have absences of a given type in a specified time period.
- Open the Absence Quota Config screen and set the Context (F3).
- Right-click Add New Record.

Select an Absence Quota Type.
These types are defined in Absence Quota Type ancillary data.

Enter the From Date and To Date
through which the quota will be in effect.
If a weekly Absence Quota Type is used, the From Date must fall on the first day of the week as defined in the property.You can leave the To Date blank for a quota with no end date.

Enter the number of employees that can be absent at the same time in either the
week or week day fields.
Absence quota types are defined as weekly or daily in ancillary data. If it's weekly, the week day fields have gray text. If it's daily, the week field has gray text.

Select Prime Period to restrict the number of absences
an employee can have during this period.
Bid Units ancillary data specifies the number of absences an employee can select during a prime period.
- Select Vacation Waiting List to generate a list of employees who place bids after the quota is filled.

Click on the row marked with an asterisk to save the record.
The Division Group field will automatically fill based on the selected Absence Quota Type.
