About Accrual Balances

Accrual balances indicate the accrued vacation time, sick time, and other absence times for an employee.

Accrual information may come from any of the following:
  • Human resources (HR) systems
  • Payroll systems
  • OPS Accrual Generation add-on module
Using Trapeze OPS to administer accrual balances you can do the following:
  • Prevent employees from using more than their accumulated absence time.
  • Remove time from the accrual balance based on ancillary data (for example, sick days from the sick day accrual balance).
