Selling Back Accrued Hours

Depending on agency policies, employees can sell back accrued absence time and take pay in lieu of time.

Trapeze OPS isn't typically the system of record for accrual information. Accrual sellbacks in OPS are mainly used to reelect sellback information for the remainder of a pay period, preventing employees from using too many accrued absence hours until the next time employee data is imported.
  1. Open the Employee Profile screen and set the Context (F3).
  2. Select an employee and then Accrual Balance.
  3. Select the accrual record to sell back.
