About Assigning Vehicles to Trapeze PASS Blocks

Vehicles are either automatically or manually assigned to Trapeze PASS blocks.

When assigning vehicles to PASS blocks, you can specify whether to keep or reschedule the trips , and whether to freeze runs or keep them active.

You can manually assign a vehicle with a capacity type of zero (0) to any PASS block. If you manually assign a vehicle with a non-zero capacity type to a block with a different capacity type, a message appears, and you can either accept or reject the assignment.

When automatically assigning vehicles to PASS blocks:

The system doesn't assign vehicles with a 0 capacity type to blocks.
If a vehicle capacity type is -1, the system can assign the vehicle automatically to any PASS block.
For vehicles with capacity types that are greater than zero (0), the system makes sure that vehicle capacity types match block capacity types when automatically assigning vehicles to blocks.
