Deleting Absence Requests

If an absence request is deleted from an employee record, the request still appears in the Absence Request screen. Delete the absence request manually.

  1. On the Absence Request screen, view and select the absence to delete.
    Note: Your permissions control your ability to delete granted absence requests.
  2. In the standard toolbar, select Delete: Delete
  3. If there are conflicting work assignments, a dialog appears. Select Re-assign for the work to reassign to the employee.
    The system checks work assignment rules.
  4. If another employee is holding down work on the absence days, a dialog appears. Select OK.
